Hook is a literary magazine in Italian, English (and many other languages in the spirit of Elias Canetti and a multilingual mind).
Curated by Caterina Orsenigo and Benedetta Grasso.
It’s a collection of short stories, fragments of words and ideas. A hook is a great way to start a story, a moment that keeps you interested, a catchy tune that doesn’t leave you alone, just like great writing, interesting thoughts or visuals. Hook is also a nod to pirates, nationless, stateless, at home only in the sea, grenzgaenger of the world, crossers of borders: they have heard and spoken every language known to man, they travel, exchange and change, they are free, enthusiastic, sometimes cruel, lawless, always on the edge.
